Per the State of CA and the County of Santa Barbara, Salt does not require face masks indoors for employees or vaccinated patrons. As COVID 19 virus still exists, we do allow visitors or employees to wear masks, as needed. Masks are optional.
We strive to keep our employees and customers safe. We follow safety guidelines of CA and SB County Department of Health Services for sanitizing, cleanliness, use of masks in our facility, perform temperature checks of staff and appointment customers. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher is rescheduled or not allowed to come to work. We use UV-C light and isopropyl alcohol sanitizing methods throughout the day and after each appointment. All massage sheets and headrest covers are changed after each appointment. We have 8 HEPA air purifiers throughout our facility that screen and filter approximately 10000 cubic feet of air daily in spa. The HEPA filters remove all air particles down to 0.1 microns which removes all dust, pollen, microbes or other air particles. Our space is approximately 4500 square feet. We have a state of the art HVAC system that completely keeps our facility fully ventilated with fresh air that is filtered hourly. We also use HoneyWell dehumidifiers for our spa rooms which keeps humidity low (approximately 40) and removes excess water from the air. The humidifiers also act as air filters.

Our Mineral Spa at 740 State Street is open for services to include retail sales, Cave Meditation appointments, Massage and Facial Treatments, and some availability for Small Cave for private meditation and Halo-therapy sessions.
